This website at https://olibubu.com (the "Site") is operated by Olibubu ("we", "us", "our"). We create fun, kid-friendly videos and coloring books for young audiences. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information about visitors to this Site.

2. What we collect
We only collect information that is necessary to run our Site and provide our services. Specifically:
Information you give us
- Your email address, when you subscribe to our newsletter.
- Messages you send us, such as emails to our contact address.
Information collected automatically
- Server log data that your browser routinely sends to any website: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the page you came from (referrer), and the date/time of your visit. This is standard web-server logging used for security and diagnostics.
- Limited technical data used to display the page correctly (e.g., your device's screen size).
We do not collect: names, addresses, phone numbers, payment details, geolocation, or any information beyond what is listed above. We don't run advertising networks on the Site. We don't sell any of your data.
3. Why we collect it
We process information only for the following purposes:
- To send you the newsletter you subscribed to (only with your consent — legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- To reply to messages you send us (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — necessary for communications you initiate).
- To run the Site securely and prevent abuse (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in operating a functioning, secure website).
4. Children's privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)
Olibubu makes content for children, but this website is primarily intended for parents, guardians, and adults who are interested in our content, products, and updates.
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States and Article 8 of the GDPR ("GDPR-K") in the European Union. We never knowingly direct advertising at children and we do not build any kind of behavioural profile on kids.
When our YouTube Kids channel and other content launch, that content will be served through platforms (YouTube Kids, Amazon) that have their own kid-safety frameworks. Each has its own privacy policy which we encourage parents to review.
5. Newsletter sign-ups
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we'll collect your email address so we can send you occasional updates about Olibubu — new videos, coloring book launches, and similar news. We send newsletters only to people who have given explicit consent.
To subscribe you must be at least 16 years old (or the legal age of digital consent in your country). By subscribing you confirm you are an adult.
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any newsletter, or by using our contact form. When you unsubscribe, we remove your email from our mailing list.
6. Cookies & similar technologies
This Site currently uses no tracking cookies and no analytics. The only storage we use is technical: the web server may temporarily hold session information if needed for a form submission. Your browser may cache images and styles to make the site faster, but that is browser behavior, not our cookies.
If we introduce analytics (for example, privacy-friendly tools like Plausible or a cookie-based tool like Google Analytics), we will update this policy and — where required — show a cookie consent banner before anything is set.
7. Third-party services
Our Site uses a small number of third-party services that may receive limited data in the normal course of delivering the website:
- Google Fonts — loads our display fonts. Google may log your IP address when fonts are requested. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Web host — our hosting provider processes standard server log data in order to deliver the Site.
- Social media links — we link to our YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook pages. We do not embed their plugins or trackers on this Site. Those services only receive information about you if you click through and visit them. Their privacy policies apply on their own sites.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (EU/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA, and similar laws elsewhere), you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict processing
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw any consent you previously gave
- File a complaint with your local data protection authority

9. How we keep data safe
We use HTTPS encryption across the entire Site. Where we store data (for example, newsletter email addresses), we rely on reputable service providers with industry-standard security practices. Still, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — we do our best, but we can't guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add new features or if laws change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always shows when the latest version took effect. For significant changes, we'll also put a notice on the homepage.
